In an announcement released Oct. 4, Blizzard stated that the company is already working on its WOW Goldfirst major post-launch content update. The company will release further details on the update in the future.

Mists of Pandaria focuses on the ancient realm, the homeland of the Pandarean race. According to Blizzard’s website, Pandareans have inner peace and are epicureans. A new class of monks is also available through the expansion pack, and players can battle to level 90.

According to Blizzard’s website, Mists is available now on DVD-ROM for Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 and Macintosh at a suggested retail price of $39.99. The expansion is also available WOW Gold digitally directly from Blizzard’s World of Warcraftwebsite, also priced at $39.99.

The development team is already working on the game’s first post-launch content update. Details about the addition will be revealed "in the weeks ahead."
