Next, make sure you’re not wasting wow gold on gear. You’ll get better gear from questing and drops. Not to mention the fact that you’ll out level any gear you buy in a week, which makes it a losing proposition. This is especially true if you are a melee. In that case, save your money for a weapon – this will help you level faster than any gear ever would.
Third, don’t sell your grey items to vendors. I know this is common practice, but it’s wrong. You’ll get a far better price if you sell it at the auction house. Most people think of greys as garbage to be unloaded at the nearest vendor, but you’d be shocked how many people are looking for nondescript items to be used for crafting.
Also, don’t waste your time with jewel crafting or smithing. Here again, I know most people would argue this point, but for the amounts of wow gold it costs you to level these up, it’s not worth it for what you get in return. These will absolutely bleed you dry before you get to any decent level.
Finally, make sure you do your research in the auction house before you list your items. Check the buyout prices as well as the opening price to get an idea of what your stuff should be listed for. You need to price your items accordingly for them to sell.
